Promoting Volunteerism Developing the Potential of Women Improving Our Communities

Reading Circles

The Reading Circles project, which has been spun-off in the summer of 2009 from our successful Books 4 Kids project, offers children opportunities to enjoy books in a supportive and encouraging format. JLM members partner with inner-city schools and community- based organizations to read with small groups of children ages 5-11 to increase their literacy and develop a love of reading.
