OUR MISSION The Junior League of Minneapolis is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Minneapolis reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.

| Kids In The Kitchen The JLM provides lessons and demonstrations related to preparation of healthy meals and snacks in partnership with local community organizations, chefs and nutritionists. With a goal to help youth make healthy lifestyle choices and reverse the growth of childhood obesity. | 
| Breakfast Buddies JLM volunteer mentors, along with community mentors, serve the St. Louis Park Junior High School as role models for adolescent girls. | 
| Gilda's Club Gilda’s Club is a free, home-like meeting place where people living with cancer, and their families and friends, can join with others to build emotional and social support as a supplement to medical care. The JLM is the Founding Volunteer Sponsor of the Noogieland Program, the area of the clubhouse dedicated to children and teens impacted by cancer. | 
| Helping Hands Work gloves, not white gloves, is the motto of this JLM service designed to support community agencies and JLM projects past and present with “done-in-a-day” projects. | 
| Books 4 Kids Books 4 Kids has a book drive and reading program to give at-risk children in Minneapolis books to keep and opportunities to come together and read. | 
| LeagueAires The LeagueAires are trained in music therapy and bring the joy of music to children, the elderly and the physically and mentally disabled. |
