Mission

The mission of LeagueAires is to bring the joy and healing power of music to older adults and to those with disabilities.

Location

Twin Cities and surrounding areas including Duluth, Two Harbors and Silver Bay.

Community Impact

Over 3,500 people were reached in 2016 . Annually, LeagueAires performs in 35 venues with over 10,500 volunteer hours contributed.

In July 2006, LeagueAires and JLM established a partnership with MacPhail Center for Music, which included engaging MacPhail teaching artist, Jeanie Brindley-Barnett, as Director for LeagueAires. Jeannie served as as Director for 10 years. In June of 2016, Walter Tambor began as a teaching artist at MacPhail and Director of Leagueaires. MacPhail’s mission is to transform lives and enrich the community through music education. Learn more about MacPhail.
