Message from the President
For 97 years and counting, The Junior League of Minneapolis has trained the women who make things happen in Minneapolis. Our mission is to promote voluntarism by developing and training our membership to lead change and improve the lives of women and children in the greater Minneapolis community.
In 1923, a group of women in Minneapolis came together, bound by their love for our city and desire to help the most vulnerable of its citizens. What emerged was an organization that give the civic-minded women of Minneapolis an opportunity to roll up their sleeves and make Minneapolis better by helping those who needed it most.
Our volunteer work today is focused on the opportunity gap and what we can do in our community to ensure all Minneapolis children have the access and support they need to thrive.
We offer unique opportunities for personal growth through leadership development and training, community service, and lifelong connections. By welcoming all women, our organization thrives through its membership’s diverse backgrounds, interests, and experiences.
Thank you for your interest in our organization. I encourage you to learn more about the Junior League of Minneapolis by exploring our website. Whether you choose to make a donation, sponsor our projects and programs, become a community partner, or join our membership, your support of our mission will ensure that we continue to deepen our impact in Minneapolis and transform our volunteers into civic leaders.
