Become a Member of the JLM

The Junior League is a driving force behind the kinds of initiatives and institutions that make our community a healthier, more vital place to live. Junior League members, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and professional pursuits, work together to identify unmet needs, forge effective coalitions, and work for change. The Junior League has consistently been among the first organizations to actively tackle our community’s biggest challenges.

Our recruitment season typically runs from mid-summer through early fall, leading up to the start of the League year in September. Please check back for more information on information sessions and to register.

Our Mission

The Junior League of Minneapolis is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

Community Projects

Our outreach programs focus on providing meaningful support to our communities – including families and caregivers – through dedicated volunteers, valued partnerships and direct financial support.

Fundraising

Since 1923, the Junior League of Minneapolis has had a tradition of improving the lives of those in Minneapolis and its surrounding area. This commitment to our community could not be complete without financial support through various fundraising activities. We have history of developing our members to be tremendous fundraisers for our League and nonprofits throughout the Twin Cities.

Training & Leadership Development

The Junior League provides skills-based training and facilitates leadership development. These experiences help members strengthen their skills and empower them to transform the community.

Social Events

The Junior League offers plenty of fun ways to connect with fellow members and volunteers. Whether it’s dinner club, book club, or member matching, these social opportunities help build friendships and make the volunteer experience even more rewarding.
