The Junior League of Minneapolis is a driving force behind the kinds of initiatives and institutions that make our community a healthier, more vital place to live. Junior League members, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and professional pursuits, work together to identify unmet needs, forge effective coalitions, and work for change. The Junior League has consistently been among the first organizations to actively tackle our community’s biggest challenges.
As our mission states: The Junior League of Minneapolis is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
The Junior League of Minneapolis reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.
Projects
Our outreach programs are designed to provide maximum benefit to our communities through our league volunteers, community partnerships and direct financial support.
Fundraising
As a means of funding our amazing projects and membership training and development, the Junior League of Minneapolis fundraises within the Twin Cities through our membership, our community and our corporate partners.
Training & Leadership Development
The Junior League provides and facilitates training and leadership experiences for our members to strengthen and renew the skills needed to transform our membership into effective volunteers within the League and in the community.
Social Events
The Junior League offers many opportunities to get to know fellow members and volunteers. Through social events such as Dinner Club, Third Tuesdays, Breakfast with Santa and the Bunny Brunch, the Junior League supports its members in enhancing their volunteer experience.
The Junior League of Minneapolis invites you to become a trained volunteer, to improve the community, to meet new friends and to change lives.
