If you can’t attend the event, but still want to contribute to Simply the Best please consider the following options:

  • Donate bottles of wine $15 or greater at any JLM General Meeting. The wine will go towards the Wall of Wine raffle where over 200 bottles of wine will be given away at the event. What a perfect way to start a wine collection!  If you don't typically attend Junior League General Meetings, please contact onenightfundraiser@jlminneapolis.org to schedule a pick-up or drop-off time and location.
  • Make a monetary contribution to Fund-a-Need where 100% of your donation will go directly to support the JLM activities. Visit the Purchase Ticket page to make your tax-deductible donation. If you choose to contribute, your gift will be recognized at the event.

Your donations go farther with the Junior League of Minneapolis; we back up every dollar donated with numerous volunteer hours, making your donation make an even greater impact. Here are just a few examples of what your donation can do:

  • A $25 donation provides food for one weekend to eight needy children who receive their only weekend nutrition through food provided by Backpack Buddies.
  • A $50 donation buys books and activity supplies for children participating in Reading Circles, a monthly reading program at the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery.
  • A $100 donation provides 50-75 used books for children who do not have their own books. The Books 4 Kids program fosters early childhood education development.
  • A $250 donation provides Kids in the Kitchen to continue to expand and broaden their community kitchen events.
  • A $500 donation buys new books for the children who do not have a parent to read to them on a consistent basis and are trying to maintain a close connection with their parent through the Between the Lines program.
  • A $1,000 donation sponsors one Leadership & Lattes Training session as part of our monthly Training & Leadership Development series available to all membership.
