Back to school season is upon us and as a teacher, it is an especially poignant time for me. I love the new starts that it brings: new colleagues, new students, new parents, and new school supplies!
Over this past summer, I have been reflecting on all of the places that I’ve been a teacher. I taught in struggling schools in St. Louis, Missouri before moving up here and getting to teach in a top district in the Twin Cities area.
