With our community-focused mission and passionate member-volunteers, our current stay-at-home state leaves many of us wondering what we can do to support our JLM partner organizations at a time of heightened need. Our partners are protecting their employees and those they serve by restricting volunteers, and we want to protect our members by honoring our state’s social distancing requirements to the best of our ability.

Our path forward is clear: a donation drive! The Board of Directors approved a motion to show up for our community partner People Serving People by collecting items on their wish list through May 17. This allows our members to stay safe at home and also support the organizational host of our 30 Million Words project’s Book Bash events. Shop and donate from home by accessing their Amazon list.  Shop for anything on these lists, log your donation, then ship by May 17.
